Para ser considerado polui\u00e7\u00e3o sonora, s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios ru\u00eddos constantes de 55 decib\u00e9is, medidos por fiscais da Prefeitura deSantos. Caso o estabelecimento descumpra a lei, ele pode ser intimado, perder o alvar\u00e1 e ser multado entre R$ 1 mil e R$ 50 mil. J\u00e1 a perturba\u00e7\u00e3o de sossego \u00e9 de menor potencial ofensivo. S\u00e3o casos onde o barulho \u00e9 inferior, e mesmo assim atrapalham vizinhos, como festas.
